al2tpd

al2tpd is a fork of the l2tpd-codebase (0.69) from l2tpd.org. I did the fork because this project seems to be pretty much dead and the mailinglist is broken. I got some patches (at first mainly fixing compile problems with recent gcc-versions) I'd like to see in see l2tpd-codebase -- a bit hard to achieve without reaching anyone.

I've chosen the name to avoid even more confusing -- it's not a nice situation to have more then one site for the same codebase under the same name in different versions out there, as it it for l2tpd at the moment. I'll most likely not implement fancy new features but do the necessary cleanup to the code and manage contributed patches. I decided to keep the version numbering, therefore the first al2tpd release will be version 0.70.
